Getting traffic to your website will never be easy. In our days the competition is at a very high level. Everywhere on the internet there are SEO experts, professional bloggers or internet marketers. That’s why you have to use all the resources to get free traffic and not pay for it. Sponsored sites can do very well but you have to set up up your campaign so you don’t lose money. If you pay 100 bucks for promotion and get back 110 that’s fine. With free traffic you know one thing. You never lose money. So let’s get to the subject:
Web 2.0 is the second generation of World Wide Web. Web 2.0 web pages should be dynamic, interactive and definitely must have shareable content. That majority of them would be blogs. But as I said you must use all of the internet resources to get traffic to your site. You can make second generation websites very easy. Traffic generation is a problem that most internet marketers constantly confront with. In this post I will show you the power of WORDS on the internet. As I said in my last post, you can get 2 categories of traffic: free traffic to your website or paid traffic. Let’s discuss about the free traffic.
Free traffic is as you can see in it’s name, free; but the problem that most have with the free traffic is that you have to work for it. On the other hand, you can get tons of traffic, targeted or not. Best would be if the traffic that you have is interested in buying your product, that means targeted traffic. For getting this kind of traffic is important to have in mind a list of keyords (tags) that you will use. So what ar we waiting for, let’s get to work:
1) The first thing that you need is a blog. You can get one at Blogger.com, WordPress.com or any other site that will host your blog, there are many websites that you can use. After you have created your blog you start with your first post. You think of that list of keywords that I told you, what is that you want to sell or promote. Let’s say your first keyword or tag is “bicycle”. You start writing your post about bicycles. In every post be sure to put the link to your website so everyone that sees your post can go to your bicycle site. After that you choose another keyword, let’s say “road bicycle” and write about road bikes. Remember, you have to work to get free traffic. After a couple of days or a week the search engines start to pick up your work. The results depend on your work. If you write many pages and have many keywords, you will also have many visits on your blog. From there they will go to your website. As I said you need targeted traffic, so write about bicycles if you have a site that sells bicycles, not abot coffee, because the users that will search for coffee in search engines will not be interested of your bicycles so even if they come to your blog they will only read the post an go, not visiting your bicycle site.
